I wanted to buy a cryto-currency that had been recommended by an investment newsletter I subscribe to. At least 10 days after my bank showed it gone, Uphold still said the funds transfer was in progress — in other words, they had the funds but didn’t show them accessible it’s called «float». Then once the funds were in the account I found out that the cryto-currency listed as accessible on Uphold, actually was not accessible in the US. Suddenly there was a hold on my account that lasted for days. When I demanded they release the hold so I could transfer my funds back to my bank, they terminated my account and told me that to get my funds, my bank would have to contact them. My account has been terminated, they still have my funds and now are saying my bank has to contact them to get MY funds.
